Beginning Hand Building Class
Join us for this four-week class, held Thursday evenings from 5:30–8:30 PM on January 8, 15, 22, and 29. This course welcomes all skill levels—no prior experience required. The class will cover Pinch, Coil, and Slab hand building techniques. The fee includes four sessions, 25 pounds of clay, the use of basic tools, slips, glazes, kiln firings, and access to the studio for independent work during open hours (for adult students 18 and older). Whether you’re new to ceramics or aiming to sharpen your skills, this class provides a supportive and creative space to develop your hand building techniques.

Introduction to Bookbinding - January 2026

An introduction to bookbinding. This class provides a foundational understanding of basic bookbinding structures and techniques, offering a hands-on experience in creating handmade books. Participants will learn how to fold paper, sew, glue, and bind various book structures, like single-sheet books, accordion books, pamphlet stitches, and Japanese stab binding techniques, using basic tools and materials.

Join us for this four-week class, held Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8:30 PM on January 7, 14, 21, 28. The fee includes bookboard, book cloth, paper, waxed thread, glue, and the use of tools including bone folders, knives, rulers, needles, awls, brushes and book presses. Class is limited to eight adult students (18 and older).
