Beginning Hand Building Class
Join us for this four-week class, held Monday evenings from 5:30–8:30 PM on August 11, 18, 25, and September 1. This course welcomes all skill levels—no prior experience required. The class will cover Pinch, Coil, and Slab hand building techniques. The fee includes four sessions, 25 pounds of clay, the use of basic tools, slips, glazes, kiln firings, and access to the studio for independent work during open hours (for adult students 18 and older). Additional clay will be available for purchase in the studio. The cost varies according to type, average $1.40 per pound. The cost for glazes and firing is included in the price of the clay.
